I’ve done a quiz script based on Rantz’s 2,300 chippies comtests. Although he doesn’t run these any more I designed a script using the same format for anyone who wants to have a blogshares contest in IRC. You make a file before the quiz with all the questions and answers. Then you run it in IRC at quiz time. The script checks to see if it finds matches in the answers given. If it does it fills a box with the first matching response. You manually check that it didn’t miss anything, correcting it if it did, then it saves the results. At the end of the quiz it opens up a file showing all the correct answerers. I’ve also included a small sample file of the question format.
